Climate protection has never been so easy for RheinEnergie’s private customers and business clients. As of January 2022 the company will provide 100% green electricity made of renewable energy. RheinEnergie will bear the additional expenses. The adjustments will automatically take place by January 1, 2022. Thus, the company and its clients will mutually save large amounts of CO2 and protect the environment and the climate.
The green energy will be produced in European wind, solar and water power plants. Addititionally, the enterprise will invest in own renewable energy plants – in Cologne and all over Germany.
