Cheering for the runners

Are you fans, friends, family members who traveled here with the runners, or just Cologne residents who love running and want to come out to the course to cheer on the runners? Then you have come to the right place!

To make sure you arrive on Sunday fully equipped and well-prepared, we have put together the “perfect cheering kit” for you here:

  • Creative and motivational cardboard signs
  • Clapsticks, clapping boards, or similar items
  • Whistles, vuvuzelas, a jukebox, or a megaphone—anything that makes a melodic racket
  • Confetti
  • Snacks and drinks
  • KVB map
  • Hard candies for a hoarse voice 😉

Public transportation tickets free of charge

Along with their confirmation of participation, each participant will receive two tickets for free rides on local public transportation on Saturday and Sunday within the VRS area: one for themselves and one for a companion, as well as two children up to age 11.

So ask your runner for the ticket, and you can ride along the course for free and cheer them on multiple times!
